Mo Kwotz Beechaze

It's all about recognising when the hurt is making you stronger and when it's just plain hurt. He who angers you conquers you. Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want. Democracy is the only system that persists in asking the powers that be whether they are the powers that ought to be. And, Politics is the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich, by promising to protect each from the other. Information is not knowledge. Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn't. Advice is seldom welcome, but those who want it the most like it the least. There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it. Holding on to anger is like grasping hot coal with the intention of throwing it at someone. But what you don't realise is that you are the one getting burned. For every minute spent in organising, an hour is earned. Cowards give excuses.

Tears Tears Tears

Tears are a sorry and sad excuse as well as a substitute for an incomprehensible and elusive wave of emotion. You cry when you are overcome with emotion. But do any of us really know what our tears mean? What feelings they stand for? You cry when it's too much to take; When the world as a whole seems to encapsulate your emotional being and all you can do is cry. A real person cannot hold back tears. And when I say real person I do not intend to offend fake people. I am only stating the obvious that for you to cry, or to express any emotion for that matter, you need to be very alive and in touch with reality. Babies cry because they don't know any better. Adults however only cry when that's all they're reduced to doing. It's primitive instinct to regress into childish behaviors when we are experiencing the extremes of emotions such as joy and pain. The idea is to make crying an emotionally gratifying and light heartening experience. Crying never made pain worse. It

God Oh God!

Somehow there is a god or godliness in the small things. Like lying in the dark, listening to the ever droning tick of the clock, it is just reassuring somehow, that there is activity happening, life is around.  That's God in small things. God is, in my eyes, a symbol of assurance. We only turn to God to feel good, happiness, contentment, all assurance that everything is good, and if anything isn't then everything will be good. God is hope. Not a person, not a high fatherly figure as such. Just a omniscient guide. I guess that's what I believe; in the God of small things. Lucky coincidences, miracles, the melodious systems like sunrise sunset, the way Nature is so beautifully synchronized all the time.

Mood Writings

We all need our screen savers. It helps us feel good about ourselves. We need to feel like we're in control of our lives. A natural kind of contentment towards the way things are around us. Our unchanging relationships, constant self assurance of who we think we are; all these things help us keep our sanity. These form the basis of our reality. We take these things for granted because it never threatens; it is quiet and seemingly unimportant but it forms all that we are. It is when realization creeps in that it all slowly starts falling apart. One by one, everything you've ever taken for granted, ever unconditionally believed in, starts to threateningly question it's presence. You start realizing things about yourself you'd only before shrug off when mentioned before. You start to consciously despise what you've done, what you do, even though you try and make yourself not to do in the first place. Soon, you start jeopardizing all these relationships little by littl

~More Quotes~

If it is to be, it is up to you. Help me see; not by seeing for me, but by showing me. Your purpose in life should be to discover the purpose of life itself. The first method for estimating the intelligence of a ruler is to look at the men he has around him. How old would you be if you didn't know how old you were? An optimist laughs to forget, a pessimist forgets to laugh. Love is when someone takes your heart and shatters it; but you still love them with the little pieces. No fear is healthy. Anything that happens, happens.Anything that, in happening, causes something else to happen, causes something else to happen. Anything that, in happening, causes itself to happen again, happens again. It doesn't necessarily do it in chronological order, though. Nothing can be as annoying when your greatest desire is in direct contradiction with your most ardent principle. There's nothing in this life I wouldn't live without. Tell a person they are brave and you help them become s

Just because you don't want to doesn't mean you have to Although wanting to does not always require you to have to Sometimes you need to just because you have to And sometimes you need to just because you want to And I don't want to anymore When I wanted to know I wanted to But once I knew I couldn't I realized I never truly wanted to You never truly want what you cannot have You never can truly have what you want Life isn't your custom made silver platter

Imagine somebody so grand that their delightful presence shakes your very soul   Imagine that person emanates a light beautifully incomprehensible; a delicious culmination of overwhelmingly brilliant colours   Imagine being stunned by that one's astounding grandeur; feeling a magnetic pull towards the magnificence of their humble aura and being so naturally transfixed you couldn't utter a word or even want to   Imagine feeling so enormously ecstatic that you could float weightlessly into the blue of their limitless sky   Imagine a life whose being alive in it self constitutes the purpose of living   Imagine that person is you   "Feel it. Breathe it. Believe it. And you'll be walking on air."

Patriotism (A meek & feeble attempt at some sensational journalism)

In view of the recent applause-worthy display of greatness on the part of our Indian athletes in the CWG, I was propelled to think about and question my own patriotism. In a country where Sachin Tendulkar assumes the place of a demi-god it is clear how proud we are of our country's successes. However, this pride is wholly based on patriotism. What is patriotism? It means "great love for one's country". That definition makes me wonder where this love comes from. I think that patriotism is just a scam. It wouldn't come naturally to you. The same way we feel good about ourselves when we achieve success, is how we are induced to feel when our country does. Thus we strive to do things(or do we even bother?); win laurels for our nation. In the bargain, the government earns some goodwill but more importantly its ego of feeling like it's the best is massively appeased. That explains why, in our schooling days itself we are influenced to feel patriotism every time we s

Tethered and twisted; Tethered and twisted I lay in the sand. Fumbling and tumbling and lost and down on the ground, Groggy and bloody and clumsy. I am unreachable. I am wasted and thrown. Blotched are my scars of the night. I am broken beyond repair, Nobody asked you to come fix me. You couldn't even if you tried is one thing, I'd rather you not is another. Untimely is this occasion. Blasphemous is this situation.   I am where I am You're where you are; And you're where you are Twisted and devious Jumbled and knotted You are All that you are I am All that I am Look now, there your carriage goes Without you Run after it lest you miss it Why should I, you question, When it won't stop for me? I give you that knowing look you know so well And say For if you don't it shall leave you behind You then give me a knowing look I know so well And say I'd rather be behind if it means being with you.

Today I sat unoccupied when the idea of a new blog post stuck. Of late I've felt very preoccupied and busy. No time to just sit down and wallow in your own thoughts as such. There couldn't be a duller start to this blog post. I predetermined that I would start my new post with a bright, interesting, in your face line that would engage my readers, which I have grown to believe I am in serious lack of. Then I thought, how important is it to me to have a gazillion readers anyway? I don't think it's THAT important. As long as I know the people I want reading are reading, it's enough. And that applies to everything else. I was never like that before. Maybe that signifies maturity? Ha ha The fact that I would think myself to be mature just because of this means that I am not, really. Why is it the common belief that only when you're older you can be wise? Wisdom is not age specific you know. The other day, when I finally got my TV fixed, after MONTHS, I sat dow
